It's a great joy to analyse the rules Anni Albers devised in her compositions and to emulate them in programming code. Her craft originated in weaving and mine is coding, which are both binary or discrete writing systems.
The algorithm is reminiscent of a cellular automata.
Also fascinated how her work sometimes touches that of Vera Molnár.
